Mastitis / Udder Massage Salve

Love love love this salve! It works amazing on edema and mastitis. A must have product for milking season.

We are using this on a first fresheners teat that has a cyst in it. At this point the cyst seems to be going down so will continue using this.

This udder balm always works so fast when we use it. We rub it in with a gentle massage and the udder is always noticeably improved by the next milking. We use it when milk is first coming in to help work out any hard spots before they can become an issue. Our goats would give it 5 stars for sure!

Works great! This is a mainstay in my milk bag. Anytime I see any issues going on with my dairy girls, this is the 1st thing I reach for. Thankfully we haven't had any mastitis problems, but it also works great for any small scratches or cuts on udders.

It truly cleared up the mastitis and helped relieve the pain. Very effective and fair price.

We've purchased this salve more than once and keep it in our medicine cabinet. It's proven to be wonderful for so many skin issues!

For us, unfortunately it didnt help resolve the situation. I went on to do some research snd start making my own infusions and adding beeswax and essential oils. I have had more success with my own.

I have used both of these salves for a long time. On my goats and my family. They do a great job.

Used this on a goat who even a vet couldn't fix or get any meds to work on ,first day she was hard as cement nothing looked good they said it was gonna probably kill her ,used this and within 3 days she had milk and was doing great used for 3 more days never had problems again love it ,amazing bought this 6 years ago and im ordering more for emergencies for my daughters sheep ??

I originally purchased the mastitis salve for a first-freshening Alpine that freshened with a congested udder. Worked great. Two months ago, my mother broke her arm, and as of last week, had her cast removed. There was quite a bit of residual edema, swelling, stiffness, and pain in her hand, wrist and forearm due to how her arm was positioned in the cast. When I had researched this product, I had mentioned that other people had used it for muscle pain, so she decided to try it on her arm. Overnight, the color changed to almost normal, the stiffness in her finger and knuckle joints decreased to the point that now she can oppose her thumb to her fingers and almost make a full fist; plus she can now rotate her wrist a little bit. The edema is also softening. Today, she was able to write her name again. She will eventually have physical therapy to regain the strength she lost, but she is SO thankful for this salve! (and for me, because I bought the salve)And the Herbal Wormer's great too!

I was recently reminded how well the Mastitis Salve works when I had a first freshener not only get engorged after birth but then she stepped on a teat. I was not able to get any milk out of it on day 2 and after I had tried it was angry and purple. Poor girl. I decided to use the Mastitis Salve twice a day on her, leave the injured teat alone to heal and milk out the good side. My decision was to allow the Salve to work and give her a few days. It started to heal and on day 4 I was able to milk her out on that teat, starting gently, and by day 7 it was healed. I am happy to say there is no long term damage. People need to know that your products help the goats own body with healing. Thank you!

I bought this cream to use on a goat that had mastitis. I used the cream some and it worked well. A couple of years later my husband cut off his finger with a chain saw. The doctor was able to reattach the finger. The finger was very stiff and therapy was very hard. I was looking for some way to help and thought why not try it. So I got the mastitis cream and massaged the finger with it. The difference was amazing! We massaged the finger at least once a day with the mastitis cream. The cream softened the stiff finger and gave relief that nothing else did. The finger is crooked but he now has full use of it.

I have been on your farm site for many different things it has been a big help.. But Last Monday one of our does just had 1 kid and she had a hard udder right away just on the one side.. So I've been milking and milking and massaging and last Friday I found your mastitis salve ordered it. Received it yesterday used it last night and this morning it was already much softer not joking.. SO I'm hooked not that I doubted it but not a full 24hrs and we are on our way to a softer udder.. I used this product on my goats with great success. My daughter recently had her first baby and was having some breast feeding issues. Her breasts became very congested and inflamed - I thought, hmmm, this worked great on the goats why not give it a try! It worked wonders! Her breast inflammation and congestion went away immediately and she was able to produce milk again with no pain! Thanks Molly for a fantastic product! =)

Well, I do not usually do reviews, but I felt this deserved one! I have been using the herbal wormer formulas for a number of years, and really like them a lot. So do the goats! Anyway, I decided to try this salve mostly because of congested udders and sometimes mastitis. It is fantastic! Udders softened within a couple of days - I mean the whole udder, not just the skin. Every year I have a couple of goats that get little bumps that become pussy. Not pleasant for me or them. I have not found anything that clears this up quickly, so we just bare through it. I used this salve, and they cleared up in about a week! I am very happy! Another addition - a couple of weeks ago I was pulling T posts and one snapped and hit me in the eye! I had quite a cut and swollen/bruised eye. I used this as soon as I could and I am amazed at the results!!! Before 2 weeks was up you could not tell I got hit except were the cut was. No yellowing or even black and blue!

I have a Nubian doe who is a first freshener. After a very difficult delivery of twins, her udder was hard and very tight. She refused to let her kids nurse and it was very difficult to milk her. I had ordered this last year and had not had an occasion to use it until now. I started using it twice a day on her udder and the difference is unbelievable! Her udder is soft and supple and milking her is easy. She is happy and producing great milk. She really seems to enjoy the massage that she gets as I am applying. Great product! I highly recommend.

I've had dairy goats for 3 years. A few years ago I picked up a jar of this but never had occasion to use it until now. Last week I had a first freshener kid with twins. After 5 days her udder developed major edema. It was so painful she wouldn't let her kids nurse. I pulled this stuff out yesterday and started applying it yesterday afternoon (along with an udder massage each application). By this evening her udder is 70% improved. I can't believe it. The change in texture is unbelievable. Also noteworthy is how soft and easy to apply this salve is. Pricey but great stuff.

I bought the Mastitis/Udder Massage Salve to try on a doe who freshened with udder edema. It helped with that, but what really amazed me was when I tried it on my doe who had severe mastitis last year and had a knot about the size of a ping pong ball in her rear udder ever since. After a week of use the knot completely disappeared and the fibrosis was significantly reduced! What a great product.

Finally reviewing this udder salve which I was initially using on 1 doe that had just freshened..well after less than a week I knew it was a salve I would not be without, it kept her udder in exellent condition, with no worries...thanx again Molly for a superior herbal salve...

I have asthma and sometimes it gets out of control and i get bronchitis, so last spring I was using some aroma therapy for my breathing. I was looking at trying to formulate a mix of the different oils that are suggested for better breathing and in the process came across the mastitis salve that I purchased from you for my goats. Amazingly it had most of the ones that I needed. So i started breathing it and rubbing it on my chest and back. Within a week I could lay flat and my breathing was getting better. I then started carrying it in my purse and when I felt my chest get sore I would breath some and rub it on my chest. I was able to cut down on My rescue inhaler by at least 50%. When my friends had a bad cold I shared some, it helped them. When another friend had an abscess on her leg and an infection in her lymph, it was the only thing that brought her relief. I also have a doctor friend that had a constant cough that she couldn't get rid of, she is from Africa. I told her about this salve and asked her if she wanted to try it. She loves it and after a week, basically has no cough, she had this cough for a month or more and it wouldn't go away...pretty awesome. When I was shopping one day the teller looked like she was in really bad shape and I asked what was wrong. She said she had a migraine and it had gotten worse as the day went on. I pulled some salve out and suggested she should rub some on her temples, before I left the store she called out to me that "it was working already" ..lol. My daughter uses it regularly for her headaches too. It is pretty funny that I use it a lot and share it so much that I have had to purchase more and I haven't had to use it on my goats yet :)

Not only does it work on mastitis, it smells great and helps keep MY hands in good shape too.
