Our Shipping Approach

At Molly's Herbals, we carefuly package every order to ensure your herbal products arrive safely and in optimal condition. We know shipping costs are high and we do everything we can to provide the best rates we are able to extend. Shipping costs are calculated based on product type, weight, packaging requirements, and destination to provide fair and accurate pricing.

Processing Time

  • Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days.
  • Orders placed after 9 am ET may ship the next business day.
  • Business days are Monday–Friday (excluding holidays).
  • During peak seasons (spring kidding, heavy parasite season, holidays), processing times may extend slightly.

You will receive tracking information as soon as we print the shipping label.

Shipping Rates by Product Type

We use specialized shipping profiles based on the type of products you order:

Herbs Only Shipping

Lightweight dried herbs and powdered blends ship via USPS using economical rates.

Salves Shipping

Packaged securely in boxes to protect tins during transit. 

Temperature Note: Salves may soften in high heat or firm in cold temperatures. This does not impact quality. Allow products to return to room temperature before use.

Tinctures & Fragile Items Shipping

Liquid tinctures and fragile items require extra protective packaging to ensure safe delivery. Shipping rates reflect additional packaging materials required.

Bulk Orders Shipping

For bulk orders over 20 lbs, we will contact you with the most cost-effective carrier option (USPS or FedEx Ground) and invoice the exact shipping amount prior to fulfillment. 

Shipping Zones

We calculate shipping costs based on USPS zones to provide accurate rates:

  • Midwest & Southeast (Zone 1-4): Closer regions with faster delivery times
  • East Coast (Zone 5-6): Mid-range distances
  • West Coast & Mountain States (Zone 7-9): Furthest regions from us

We use appropriate packaging materials based on your order contents:

  • Envelopes: For under 2 lbs herb orders in zones 6-9
  • Boxes: For closer zones, heavier orders, salves, and all tincture/fragile items

Delivery Estimates

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. USPS delivery times vary by zone:

  • Zones 1-4: Typically 2-4 business days
  • Zones 5-6: Typically 3-5 business days
  • Zones 7-9: Typically 4-7 business days

Please verify your shipping address before completing checkout. We are not responsible for carrier delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
