Keep flies, ticks, and biting insects at bay with this handcrafted blend of therapeutic-grade, 100% pure essential oils. Our formula combines citronella, cedarwood, eucalyptus, geranium (traditionally known to help deter ticks**), lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, and tea tree oils. To ensure easy use, the blend also includes polysorbate 20 (derived from coconut oil) to keep oils dispersed in water for a smooth, even spray.

Intended Use**:
Supports natural protection against flies, ticks, and biting insects for animals and people when diluted and applied as a spray.**

Directions for Use
  • Dilute in bottle before applying.
  • Mix 2–2.5 ml (½ tsp) of Shoo Fly for every 100 ml of water or apple cider vinegar.
  • Shake well before each use.
  • Spray directly onto animals or humans to help discourage biting flies and insects.**

Important: For external use only. Do not use undiluted. Not for use on cats.

  • One 8 oz. bottle makes approximately 3 gallons of insect deterrent spray.

We bought the shoo-fly spray early this past summer when the flies were especially bad. We also ordered the fly predators that you recommended and used both until the fly predators did their job. Now we don't need the shoo-fly spray in the barn, but we spray it on ourselves to repel mosquitoes and ticks. It works better than any of the other herbal insect repellents we have tried, and we're not about to put synthetic chemical repellents on ourselves to try comparing it to them.
